Pricing for a family story also varies. The price for interviews & transcription starts at $1,725+GST for 4 hours of interview and a printout of the unedited transcript with major headings and table of contents. If you'd like a book, a family story that includes 6 hours of interviews, 75 photographs scanned and touched up, and 5 copies of a 120‑page, hard cover, full colour book that is printed by an “on demand” printer costs around $10,000. The price increases with more content, or more photos, or with memorabilia. We have happy clients who have joined with other family members to cover the cost of a book that they and generations to come can enjoy.
